Ciao :) Thank you very very much for your smartness in disclosing NU Skin businesses, all my perceptions and knowledge and common sense now got a name through this site, i will always believe in my insights and again, common sense. I think through greediness it's all possible for Them and then through ignorance. I am from Romania, they started to develop here as well and i was recruited for... few moments but i said no to all promises because all pyramids are scams. Thank you :)

Caloy17slump:
Well, Forbes has a trustworthy list from earlier this year regarding all US companies. Nu Skin were number 5 in midsize companies. I have been a customer for years and think the products are fantastic. I joined the company earlier this year as a distributor.
I don't know about the company on beldevere bldg... but Nu Skin is for real. A 20 year old article in Newsweek doesn't changes the fact.
There's a lot of good information on youtube and on other sites.
I can give anyone a online business presentation, eventhough I'm sitting in Denmark on the other side of the world. Any who are interested can mail me at martin@age-loc.dk

i was invited to see their presentation yesterday night at 12th floor beldevere bldg. beside the richmonde hotel.. i was interested to the business, but there are a lot of questions playing in my mind whether how trustworthy this company is or is this company a scam? there are a lot of executives who used to spoke with us about this business and they seem to be professional and real... i just want to know if they're real.. if the company is real..

wellness mentor, you are a herbalife distributor. I do not know much about herbalife so I went online to read about it. nothing personal.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbalife

So many lawsuits against Herbalife. Herbalife and its distributors had to pay.

But more important:
"Scientific studies in 2007 by doctors at the University Hospital of Bern in Switzerland and the Liver Unit of the Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center in Israel found an association between consumption of Herbalife products and hepatitis.[15][16] In response, the Spanish Ministry of Health issued an alert asking for caution in consuming Herbalife products.[17] Herbalife has stated they are cooperating fully with Spanish authorities.[18]"

May 21, 2008
"Tests from a second FDA registered, independent lab confirm that Herbalife (NYSE: HLF) products exceed lead levels allowed by California law without proper label disclosure." xxx "Contrary to Herbalife's belief, they do not have the right to hide potential hazards and dangers present in their products."

Read entries of "TheFraudChick"
Read entry of "J of Tucon, Arizona U.S.A." , Submitted: 10/20/2003 6:21:19 PM, who worked for Herbalife, and witnessed many lawsuits ; read entry of Dr Rodney Iowa City, Iowa U.S.A., submitted on Submitted: 6/7/2004 6:39:14 PM ; Tom Trumbull, Connecticut U.S.A., Submitted: 4/22/2007 9:25:57 AM, replied to the "not a scam, it is a publicly traded company under the NYSE" statement. Tom replied, I swear this is the first time I am reading this, "You are as stupid as they come. I'm sure Enron was publicly traded also."; Chris Toronto, Ontario Canada, Submitted: 4/25/2007 11:10:51 AM, a Herbalife Distributor, wrote something familiar. ; Juliet Birmingham, Alabama U.S.A., Submitted: 4/25/2007 4:28:01 PM, her comments on the Donald Trump endorsement of MLM, that was funny ; Submitted: 12/11/2008 3:07:16 PM , from Newfenoix Arlington, Texas U.S.A., "To the UNEDUCATED
The MLM model is taught as an IMPROPER way to do business. It is not endorsed by ANY leading business entity. My education is in business, not science fiction." (This entire RIP-OFF report is entertaining to read)

The only story I remember about Herbalife is about its founder who died of drug overdose. An earlier report, on him : http://www.people.com/people/archive/article/0,,20090546,00.html

This question not particularly directed to anyone, just thinking out loud : "What is the role of SEC?" http://lawprofessors.typepad.com/securities/news_stories/index.html

allanzoaldyeck, are you an isolated fool? Or are you just plain ignorant? Or are you THE SCHEMING scammer?

did NU SKIN sequestered you into reading only NU SKIN issued hypes, and interacting only with fellow NU SKIN cult members? Listening to NU SKIN tapes ? Or are you the one (an UPLINE, recruiting for DOWNLINES) sequestering others to fill their heads only with NU SKIN materials? Are you a victim of NU SKIN (a new recruit, a downline, trying to recruit his own downlines?), or are you a long-time perpetrator of DECEPTION ?

You do not even listen or read the international news? Like the latest PYRAMID SCHEME perpetrated by a company publicly listed in SEC, the company of Madoff? Heck, the links are provided already below. You do not know anything about it, do you? Explain the Madoff company and ENRON, both publicly listed in NYSE and SEC, which ran PYRAMID SCHEMES. They got away with pyramid schemes and they are publicly listed. Hello? Anything inside that cranium of yours, other than NU SKIN propaganda materials?

The
U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, in a FACTUAL & PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND , stated that

Despite the lip service to "products," the true structure of Nu Skin is a classic pyramid scheme

in which members/distributors focus their efforts on recruiting new distributors rather than on selling products, and must maintain "personal volume" of wholesale purchases in order to remain members of the distribution chain and reap commissions from the efforts of their "downline" distributors. . . . Thus, true success comes from recruiting active recruiters . . . in an effort to establish a "downline" which will generate profits for the participant.

Here is the link of the case:
http://laws.findlaw.com/9th/9515870.html

compare the FACTUAL background stated by the US court about NU SKIN (that its true structure is that of a CLASSIC PYRAMID SCHEME)
with the story of minnow here : http://catchdascammers.multiply.com/links/item/9

poor you. you must be feeling great about yourself. like your a hero of some sort. If a company is publicly listed in NYSE then it is open for public scrutiny. and one more thing, a pyramid company cannot be listed on nyse. S-T-U-P-I-D :)
allanzoaldyeck wrote on Dec 31, '08
haha tell that to the president of the philippines. hahaha

publicly listed company of Bernard Madoff, ran a PONZI scheme (pyramid scheme).

http://uk.reuters.com/article/companyNewsMolt/idUKTRE4BG08320081217

Big name investors scammed : http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/12/30/madoff.victims/index.html?iref=mpstoryview

lesson: not because a company is publicly listed in SEC or NYSE, the public is assured of a SCAM-free company.

hope you learned something new today, boys, girls and gheys. including scammers who read this blog.

allansoaldyeck, you must be a NU SKIN cult member. Your brains had been fried by all your "seminars" already. ENRON was also publicly listed in the NYSE. They ran a SCAM.
